In the Super Edition Series

Firestar's Quest

Ashfur is shown as a young warrior and appears few times throughout the book. Ashfur was born in the first book, Into The Wild. He is friends with the new warrior Brambleclaw. His sister, Ferncloud, and her mate, Dustpelt, have just had their first litter of kits. They are named Spiderkit and Shrewkit .

Ashfur is later on patrol with Sootpaw, Thornclaw, and Willowpelt. They meet Firestar returning from his night at Smudge's. A badger then kills Willowpelt, and Ashfur attacks it out of revenge. He is given a bad shoulder wound.

The Forgotten Warrior

Ashfur is seen only briefly when Jayfeather visits StarClan in a dream in an attempt to find him. Jayfeather spots Ashfur hunting and plans to ask him how he feels about Hollyleaf returning to ThunderClan but Bluestar stops him from confronting the StarClan cat. She tells Jayfeather that Ashfur knows what happened to him. Bluestar also says that Ashfur has paid a high price for the mistakes he made while alive; so has Hollyleaf, and because of this perhaps justice has been served.

Ashfur's parents were Brindleface and his father is unknown, he has a sibling named Ferncloud and two dead siblings that were never named because of death at birth, he was an apprentice when Swiftpaw died, he was one of the cats that helped with the "Dog Incidence" by running with the dog chasing behind him and Ferncloud
