Cinderpelt was a light gray she-cat with blue eyes and a broken hind leg. She was a medicine cat of ThunderClan under Bluestar and Firestar's leadership.

Into the Wild[]
She is born as Cinderkit to Frostfur and Lionheart alongside her siblings, with Brackenkit Thornkit, and Brightkit
Forest of Secrets[]
- She becomes a medicine cat after being crippled at the Thunderpath, though it was meant for Bluestar instead. She becomes apprentice to Yellowfang. She later becomes Cinderpelt between Forest of Secrets and Rising Storm.
Rising Storm[]
- Her mentor, Yellowfang, dies in a fire that raged through ThunderClan, due to smoke inhalation. She and her Clan seek shelter in RiverClan.
- Later, she and Fireheart travel to Moonstone so she can become a full medicine cat.
A Dangerous Path[]
Cinderpelt tells Fireheart that Sandstorm likes him and they become mates, later Bluestar dies and Cinderpelt travels with Fireheart to Moonstone so he can get his nine lives.
The Darkest Hour[]
There is a battle between BloodClan and the other Clan cats, Cinderpelt mentors Fernpaw until the battle is over, Fernpaw realizes she wants to become a warrior ,

Cinderpelt becomes mentor to Leafpaw.
