In the Super Edition Series Edit

Firestar's QuestEdit

Brightheart is seen as a queen. She spends a lot of time with her mate, Cloudtail. She acts as a surrogate to Sorrelpaw, Rainpaw and Sootpaw after they lose their mother. She defends Firestar when he decides to leave ThunderClan for a while, reassuring every cat that StarClan had never let them down, and they should trust them to keep Firestar safe on his quest.
In the epilogue, Brightheart gives birth to Whitekit. She warns her kit to be careful around Firestar and Sandstorm's kits.

In the Original SeriesEdit

Into the WildEdit

Brightkit, Thornkit, Brackenkit and Cinderkit are born to Frostfur
Later, Brightkit and her siblings are kidnapped by a ShadowClan warrior. A ThunderClan patrol rescues them.

Fire and IceEdit

Brightkit is not shown much in the book. Her two siblings are made apprentices.

Forest of SecretsEdit

Brightkit receives her apprentice name, Brightpaw, getting Whitestorm as her mentor. When Fireheart and Graystripe have to stay in the apprentices' den, she and her brother stare at them.

Rising StormEdit

Fireheart notes that Brightpaw has been hunting well lately. Fireheart ask her if she brought her prey to the elders or not. Brightpaw says she did, hoping it was the right thing.
Later at the Gathering, Fireheart listens in on Brightpaw and a ShadowClan apprentice's conversation. The apprentice asks her of they have seen any rogues in their territory, and Brightpaw replies no, and they haven't seen them in a moon. She later goes hunting with Fireheart and Sandstorm.
When she meets Ravenpaw for the first time, she is happy to know he's alive. Then, Fireheart and Sandstorm go to search for Cloudpaw. Fireheart orders her to tell Whitestorm where they have gone. Once Cloudpaw returns, she greets him friendly.

A Dangerous PathEdit

Cloudpaw is made a warrior by Bluestar, so Brightpaw and Swiftpaw go to Snakerocks and find out what's happening to the prey to make them warriors. The dogs attack Brightpaw and Swiftpaw; Brightpaw is badly scarred and Swiftpaw gets killed.
When they get back to camp, Bluestar names her Lostface, so it would always remind her how she hated StarClan.

The Darkest HourEdit

Here Lostface gets the name Brightheart from their new leader Firestar. Cloudtail begins to train Brightheart for the battle with BloodClan and it pays off like he planned. Brightheart isn't seen much after this.

In the New Prophecy SeriesEdit

Brightheart is now a senior warrior under Firestar, as well as her mate, Cloudtail. She is seen in the beginning of the book, on a hunting patrol with Cloudtail and Brambleclaw. Her and Cloudtail's daughter, Whitepaw, is seen as an apprentice, along with Squirrelpaw, Shrewpaw, Spiderpaw, and Sorrelpaw. She is also one of the first cats to notice that Brambleclaw is not in the warriors' den, or even in camp, when he and Squirrelpaw leave to go on the journey to the sun-drown-place. However, she doesn't think much of it, and is calmer than most cats about it, assuming he has just gone hunting on his own. She is not seen much after this.

Brightheart is awesome!
